I've been hearing "it's gonna improve" for over 20 years now or so.

I've heard it twice as long. Still looks awful, was at NCAA tourney yesterday, and had it been a night game, no way would I attend.

Webster is ok, but the area is too devoid of activity otherwise..of a productive nature.

With Bridgeport pols constantly going to jail, wouldn't it be more efficient , rather than swear them in, read Miranda rights that day.

Isn't about half of Christie's senior staff under indictment or currently under investigation?

Let's not pretend this is a Connecticut thing.

Glass houses, and all that

Two Boots shut down in downtown Bridgeport. Not good.

They are opening a location in Stamford soon.

They also shut down their Grand Central Station Food Court space...

The Bridgeport space was way, way too big. The last time I went their pizza sucked, too.

I'm not and I'd extend it to NJ, also.

BTW CC is done in politics in NJ.

GC forced then out and many others. I liked their lasagna, and liked Juniors who also got GC boot. Never ate at Bridgeport restaurant.

Oh come on if you're scared of downtown at night I can't imagine where you would actually feel safe. The Villagers never make it that far, even without the police presence at the stadiums.

Scary area at night..vastly under developed. The stadiums help, but are unoccupied on hundreds of nights (baseball park unused 8 mths, hockey for 6 or so months).

We had several dozen using Metro North Saturday at the same time, so that was good.
