True. John McCain wanted him as his running mate in the presidential election but the Republicans bigwigs refused. Instead they gave him Sarah Palin and he lost the election. Could you imagine how different the country would be today if they ran together? Jay

They would still have lost, but JL was still the correct pick in 2008.
