This should be pretty tight. The 3 big cities haven’t been counted yet.

I can't wait until the results from Windsor, Bloomfield, Hartford, Meriden and Middletown all come in.

No blue wave for Connecticut or Florida. Democrats thought they were going to win all these big races around the country. No going so well tonight. Losing the House will cause more gridlock but the Republicans were not passing much when they had the majority. Trump will do tons of executive orders and use Senate to form bills. Democrats can't just try to stop everything or else what will they run on in 2020?

Democrats thought we would win the House tonight and we did. Tonight went just fine for us. Trump is not going to get every itty bitty thing he wants now. There will be more of a balance. And it's Republicans who try to stop everything--how are they doing with health care, for instance? Everybody got health care?

Trump now has his foil and his Trump card(pun intended). Nothing will get done(except for judges) as Pelosi and crew will grandstand and people will remember how much Dems suck. But hey they got rid of the House GOPe never-Trumpers tonight so at least they've served some use.

Meanwhile a "far right" dude is close to winning CT. It shoulda been over hours ago.

I'm so happy that the House will now be controlled by Democrats. Trump's nonsensical presidency will be halted! And he will be forced to release his tax returns.

Lamont was a poor candidate. Democrats should have looked for a new fresh face. Lamont could not win before and he did not generate enough buzz in his campaign to be successful. Stefanowski ran an great campaign and really went for it unlike Tom Foley. I think OZ was a non factor overall but he hurt Lamont vote totals. Democrats had a bad night overall. US Senate stays Republican and big races in Florida went RED. Trump will go after Mama Pelosi and force the Democrats to actually do something. No free ride for 2 years and think you will beat an incumbent President who has a booming economy and created tons of jobs. Now we get to see what Trump will do ? Deal time or else he will just keep campaigning to the people for the next 2 years.

We are in the back room still counting numbers because so many people voted,” Merrill said at about 12:20 a.m. “A lot of cities are still counting. We have, believe it or not, wet ballots. We are telling them get out your hairdryer. Dry them out.

Wet ballots, lol. Yes, it rained today. Time for bed. This can wait.

Ned Lamont might win because of votes in Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport
