I am voting for Oz and so is my wife. We vote for the person who we believe is best for the job.

If you don’t care strongly about Bob vs Ned, then go ahead, make the Oz vote.

100% agree with this. There's no way Oz will win so basically you're just pulling a vote away from your second choice.

I have seen more Stefanowski signs in the south end of East Hartford (bordering Glastonbury/Manchester) and about equal along my Glastonbury routes.

I am seeing less lawn signs than normal I think.

I don't remember who said it above, but every flyer I've gotten is just bashing the other. I said that when I got the "Apprentice" one. I think I got 6-7 of them yesterday.

And they are VERY different from town to town.

DW is not even showing it to me. I noticed a small pile in the recycling bin. Did not even bother to look at any of it. Jay

I’m not excited by Lamont, but he can’t be worse than Malloy. He seems to have a smidge more business sense, better PR sense, is willing to legalize weed.

Stefanowski? I feel like with him we have no idea what we are going to get.

I really wish Boughton was in the race. I would’ve voted for him in a heartbeat. The state needs a sensible moderate with experience.

I think I am voting all D. It’s defintely not my first choice but the R’s have lost their minds, locally and notionally.

To each his own, I think that’s a very flawed way to vote. By that logic you might as well put down a write in candidate because I’m sure there is someone else in your mind that is the “best for the job”

Think about it this way. Imagine you are the LAST person in line to vote. The polls are about to close, everyone in CT has voted except for you and the wife. The votes have been tallied along the way and it’s a tie between Ned and Bob at 45% each and Oz 10%. You literally have all the sway, vote for Ned, he wins and Bob loses or vice versa. Vote for Oz and it remains a tie. Are you honestly telling me you would STILL vote for Oz instead of voting for the person (who actually has a chance of winning) that you’d rather have (Bob or Ned)?

In the Presidential election, with electoral college it’s not so simple because each single vote is not as meaningful but in a popular vote this is how it works.
