Up to 57 in New Britain. Brainard showing 1.3" to 12:53 pm and climbing. Time to check the weekly d------ monitor map. No, not for Connecticut!

Localized flooding going on. Sewers backing up.

9:15am-1:15pm loop. Lots more to go too. Nice clear skies over Indiana!

And yeah, raining up to Vermont and Maine too.

This is the 27000 foot upper level flow. Southerly in Eastern side hence the warmth. Cold inside the trough west of us as the Jet stream digs down to Texas again. I spy a Vortex near Hudson Bay. It's coming next week

Just checked the UNL d------ monitor. Bits of dryness in far northern VT and northwest ME are gone. The only stuff in the entire eastern half of the lower 48? Most of the southern third of Florida.

0.0" of snow melted to 2.36" of liquid. That's 0:1 ratios! Impressive for this year.
Ok, sarcasm off.

Squishy ground. Back to hearing this sound

edit - also only 0.32" away from hitting average rainfall for January AND February. And January isn't even done. or , your choice

Yeah even if it did snow, it's all in the same in the end.
There's no place for rain, then snow, ice or hail to go once melted.
Even down here in SWNJ, a little rain to a small extent "floods" roads with mostly very shallow pools of water as the ground is just so very saturated.

Mud season? Maybe new swamp season.
