Not even remnants of a Tropical System can help with rain totals inside this bubble here.

Left my house it was low 70s.
Its 67° in parts of Litchfield an hour later. And air is cleaner with less congestion. LOVE this area.

You sure it was tropical remnants on Saturday night? Looked like a simple cold front to me.

Noticed that the dew point in New Britain was 48 at 6:30 pm.

I agree, a great day. Got a bit of yard work done, and was thinking of lighting the firepit in the evening, but remembered it was Sunday and work awaits early in the morning.

Not sure if squirrels are just pre-programmed to know September is almost here or potential a harbinger of a rough winter. I’ve never seen them so active and it just started in the past day or two.

This year looks like a serious nut haul. So many acorns in the Oaks. Which is a bit surprising since its been pretty dry.

Looks like nice weather will be in store for Labor Day weekend when I visit, with mostly sunny skies, highs in the 80’s and lows in the 60’s.
