72° with a warm sun and a breeze. Feels like Spring and we have a break from winter.

Teddy Loop last 4 hrs. Rain staying off shore but the Outer edge clouds making it to the CT River Valley

Gorgeous!

I will say I love this weather. I slept like a Rock last night with the window open and the cool fresh air. It felt so good. Jay

I was working right under the western edge today. It was like a perfectly straight cloud edge across the sky.

BDR's low of 43 today missed the record low by just 1 degree (set in 1997 and 1962)

Nice shot! On a side note, look how big its wind field is. I think the biggest since Sandy. NHC says the circulation is over 1000 miles wide.

Here's Sandy. Didn't even know the graphic changed. 8 years ago, wow. I believe the map scale is a bit different so take that into account.

Bridgeport, CT hit 82° today. Warmest since September 6th.

No complaints after 8 of last 9 days being below normal. We New Englanders like these swings. 3 Seasons in 1 week. Fall, Winter, Summer.

It was an awesome view for sure both on maps and for you guys. I didn't see anything from here.

I still say NorEasters (or storms up our way) are prettier than NorWesters although some NorWesters do make it a close call.

Yup.. For sleeping I love the cold air. We sleep with a circulating fan on 24/7 everyday of the year, even during the Polar Vortex nights. But I like 57-61° in the bedroom to sleep. 65-70 for main rooms.

So... the rain thing...
Was supposed to be getting some Sunday but the front decided to slow down in the mid west. So looks like Sunday is a nice day and Monday is the day of rain(hopefully)

The rain down south from Beta is missing us to the south...again... I think Laura was the other one to miss us too this month. Missing the Tropical moisture.

I think 2 big reasons.
1. Jet stream is dipping south of us (hence the cooler shots of air) so the rain is too.
2. High Pressure as in this weeks case blocking the rain from coming north.

Maybe Beta is the reason that the front slowed down 24hrs. Or maybe Beta not reaching us because of the front.
