Now on to the votes.
It's always fun to get in a little bit of trouble sometimes...

Danny's enthusiasm is great. I enjoy reading his comments and love it when he comes around to host the tournament.

Fairfield County

Westport vs Fairfield - I'll be calling Westport home in July but Fairfield is the pick here. Despite the corrupt politicians, its citizens "corrected them - Delbert Grady style" at the polls. Its the best mid city in CT, slightly over Norwalk, hands down. Some would say Greenwich, West Hartfords, Milfords, I don't.

New Haven County

New Haven vs Milford - Wonderful city, Its the best major (100K+) in CT. Is it propped up by Yale? yeah probably. So what, Stamford is propped up by the Stub location. Hartford needs more nightime personnel away from W Hartford. Milfords propped up by the coast and wonderful center. The rest leaves much to be desired. JayCT previously brought up a great point regarding the home styles. I never loved the residential warehouses.

Hartford County

West Hartford vs Simsbury - I voted for perennial Fairfield. One is enough.

Middlesex County

Winners: Old Saybrook
Runners Up: Essex

New London County

Stonington vs East Lyme We all know it has a great center

Litchfield County

Litchfield vs Woodbury - Too scenic not to be the vote

Tolland County

Winners: Mansfield
Runners Up: Hebron

Windham County

Winners: Woodstock
Runners Up: Pomfret

So there we have it. Who is READY to VOTE in Round 5!!!![/quote]

Stonington vs East Lyme is extremely tight and looking very interesting. I honestly knew that this was going to be very tough and tight, because both towns are very nice but in different ways and the feelings are quite different. Comes down to what exactly people look for I guess, but I can't wait to see what happens with this one.

One thing I gotta say is that Litchfield has really breezed through its whole county pretty easily and comfortably. No town in Litchfield County has yet to really cause any real threat. Always wins of at least 10 or more votes. Would you all say that Litchfield is by far the most charming town in its county? I haven't really explored much of that area myself. I've been through all the towns briefly, but haven't seen a lot of those towns to their full extent. Like the ones I know very well are: Litchfield, Thomaston, Torrington, Winchester, Barkhamsted, New Milford, Roxbury, and Woodbury. Really love Barkhamsted is my favorite but I knew it wouldn't be that popular among most because it is extremely rural.

I think a big part of it is that Litchfield is the best known town. I don't know those other towns as well.

I like Litchfield because it has a pictureseque center and has shopping, restaurants, the two best ice cream places in the state, and an art movie theatre. It also has hiking at White Memorial, Topsmead, and Mount Tom.

There are other towns in Litchfield County I'd choose over it (such as my own town of Thomaston, also New Milford) but it has much more to do than many Litchfield County towns that are more rural.

What's the other one, besides Arethusa?

I like Arethusa, but a little overhyped. I prefer Ferris Acres and Walnut Beach Creamery. The latter is my fav. Ashley’s is quite good too.

I was literally gonna ask on here, if anyone has been to Ashely's Ice Cream in Madison? There is also one in Guilford I think as well. That is a really great place and it has amazing ice cream!
