I forget whether it was 2007 or another year, but we have had 40s or very low 50s for highs as late as Memorial Day weekend. I think there was actually snow upstate during that year.

It looks like it will get worse before in gets better. There looks to be no real break in on/off showers and cloudy skies until late this weekend. There might (?) even be a coastal low/hybrid tropical storm that comes off VA Beach and moves south of Long Island Fri/Sat. Some of the models have a 995 mb low off Long Island this weekend. LOL.

It is a weird weather pattern. Today will actually feel more like summer(ish) than tomorrow, yet tomorrow looks like a nicer day over all. Today, as the southwest flow strengthens, dew points will rise into the 60's F, temps (if there is enough sun) will be in the middle 70's F (not shocked if spots hit 80 F), then tonight the winds switch around to the north on Tuesday, and drier air mass but clear blue skies. Then showers move back in by mid week and temps start to fall.

So, tomorrow looks like the best day of the week with sunny skies and temps in the 70's F. So get out there.

Today is pick of the week. I'll be away for a few days, so I'm going to miss the showers - lol. Get outside today, perfect weather and temps. Sunny, blue skies, and high temps 75 - 80 F on NW flow

Yesterdays high temp roundup. NWS Bridgeport hit 76 F (10 F above normal) and Bradley hit 84 F (8 F above normal). Oddly, Bradley was one of the warmest temps in the Tri-State/Middle Atlantic region yesterday:

Warm front moving through Tri-State with showers/weak thundershowers right now. NWS forecasts it will pass by the area by noon, then partly clearing. We'll feel the increase in humidity later this morning as the southwest winds bring in higher dew points. Temps should reach middle 70's F.

Cold front should pass through overnight tonight according to NWS...
