Clouds on the weekends, wind and rain of course. I'm sure Monday will be somewhat nice right? I'm not saying there is a group of angry men in a remote area out west pushing buttons and moving throttles to manipulate frequencies and patterns that target the northeast with crappy weather on the weekends, but I'm also not saying there isn't.

NWS says now that the upper low a moved out, it should turn much warmer today, and really the rest of the week.

Seasonable temperatures will resume as as high pressure builds out into the Atlantic and to the south. A
warm front will bring scattered showers tonight followed by typical warm weather Tuesday, but a few showers are possible in the interior during the afternoon. A coastal storm lifting NE from North Carolina coast may bring showers and cooler temperatures Wednesday morning to Wed night - then high pressure returns Friday.

The normal daily high for today May 13th.......is 68 F at NWS Bridgeport ....and 71 F at NWS Bradley:

Forecast highs today...

Most locations should be from upper upper 60's F to low 70's F with mostly sunny skies.

I missed the clouds this weekend. Glad the sun followed me back

High pressure off the East Coast should hold for one more day, before showers (maybe some thunderstorms) move in Wed/early Thur. Highs today should again climb into the 70's F inland near 70 at the coast:

8 Am obs...mostly upper 50's F under sunny skies:

Unless June is without Humidity, then I wont mind at all.

Spring (March, April, May) is the only months I want above normal temps!
At this time of the year, it is common, as in the map in this post, that it is equally warm or warmer in far upstate New York or even Canada than in coastal Connecticut. I have seen 80's there, 50's here on occasion.

As of 2 PM temps well into the 70's F across the Tri-State area - even coastal locations. I'm sure sunny skies and sw flow is helping...

In fact, the temps at NWS Bradley are above normal for the date (normal high is 72 F)...it's currently 81 F.
