I do wonder why they didn't address race in this story, myself. It appears the media is harping on the story about the rich Greek family, living in Washington D.C,who was murdered by a psychopath....of course the psychopath is the stereotypical black thug. The point is: thugs can in all races. The media seems to perpetuate stereotypes.

Yes, but on the flip-side, this is a pretty big crime scene, it's gonna take days and days to process it, LE is quiet on the matter because they don't want to to prematurely release info that could possibly be discounted by their own investigators later on. They're playing it safe. I know that this can be construed as "it's a cover up", or "they're getting their stories straight" and whatnot, but it is what is, this is how investigations work. People are expecting CSI, case wrapped up in 45 min. It just doesn't work that way.

Agree, but why with hold how many officers fired their guns? That should be known right away. What, it has to be verified with testing because the officers can't be trusted to tell the truth?
The number of shots fired by le should be known right away too, if the officers can be trusted.
All i can say is watch a few of these sensational "biker gang" fiascos from beginning to end and you quickly recognize the play book/pattern that le and the media love.
Also, there is really no disincentive for swanton to lie and exaggerate. He will not be punished. It won't even be suggested. If lies are deemed necessary by people higher than him, there is actually incentive for him to lie.

Why don't you tell us about the criminal history of the arrested or murdered? Of course lying cops are going to cover for each other as usual, but it's already out that well over 100 of the killed and arrested have NO criminal history! Very few were members of any 1% gang. The reports about attacks on cops are more BS spread by law enforcement to justify their crimes.

yes they do, but so are you. There are about 169 people locked up for attending an organized political event to discuss motorcycle laws and motorcycle rider rights. Some of them are likely bad people. Some of them likely are not.
You seem to be saying everyone locked up down there is a thug. They are not. And if being in jail is your qualifier for someone being a thug you are employing a self fulfilling prophecy.

As much as I can't stand these people, I don't believe the cops. They've been saying this nonsense every time they get in over their heads with something and want to have the option to "shoot to kill", but with the words "self-defense" involved.

The latest news I know is that the police shot 4 of the dead. The other 5 are still being determined, which may take some time, as over 200 weapons were left in the parking lot.
Since the biker gangs have many cops and ex-cops in them, I seriously doubt they will go to killing any cop on sight. Even if they had no police in their memberships, even the largest biker gangs don't have enough members to be able to resist any state's police action against them.
The bikers shave wives, kids, and family just like everyone else, and they are not so stupid as to call for anything like this. The article was nothing but BS from top to bottom.
