Interesting...a couple of weeks ago the Baltimore PD said the Crips, Bloods and BGF were going to start targetting them one day after it was reported that they formed a truce to quell the violence in the city....it was clear in subsequent days that these gangs united for peaceful purposes in the city and the LE story was a misdirection...I am hearing some interesting things about what happened in Waco..things like it was a Police setup...this story about a kill order on cops by Bikers lends credence to the Police setup story

I'm not sure what passes for "serious" in Texas, but shooting up a crowded restaurant would certainly qualify in most jurisdictions.

As for all the nonsense about this being about a fictional "Black Widows" club, this CNN report indicates this was a beef between the Bandidos and the Cossacks about the Cossacks wearing the "Texas" bottom rocker on their vests and refusing to pay tithe to the Bandidos for running their criminal operations in their territory.

Personally, I don't see what the big surprise is about. Gangs have fought deadly battles over turf for as long as gangs have existed. The only surprising aspect is the amount of posters in this thread who seem to think this is some kind of foolish conspiracy nuttery.

Well, except for the guy who got stabbed in a bar this year.

And there was that little shootout between the Angles and the Mongols in the Harrah's casino about ten years ago. But boys will be boys!

I think probably the police over reacted and wasted a few bikers for sport and locked the rest up to keep them quiet.
3 dead gets chalked up to "boys will be boys"? Are you serious?

Criminal histories? You might want to start looking at their professions.....

A year before the deadly Texas shootout that killed nine people on May 17, a lengthy report by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives detailed the involvement of U.S. military personnel and government employees in so called outlaw motorcycle gangs, or OMGs.

The report lays out, in almost obsessive detail, the extent to which OMG members are represented in nearly every part of the military, and in federal and local government, from police and fire departments to state utility agencies. Specific examples from the report include dozens of Defense Department contractors with Secret or Top Secret clearances; multiple FBI contractors; radiological technicians with security clearances; U.S. Department of Homeland Security employees; Army, Navy and Air Force active-duty personnel, including from the special operations force community; and police officers.

Yes I would concur that all the members employed by government and especially law enforcement are most defiantly criminals.

800 thousand meet every year also in Sturgis with few problems.

I don't believe the OP's headline or rumor. Bikers are not stupid enough to stir up the hornets nest of Texas Law Enforcement.

I've been to more trainings on OMG's than you can count and dealt (several times) with Devil's Disciples and HA's in Kingman, you were saying?

You asked what reliable information sources are available, the answer is none. You must research on your own to find accurate information. Every mainstream media has a conflict of interest due to their corporate ownership.
When ever you begin to divide people into groups and to begin to form prejudice based on those label's you are dealing in lies spun by vested interests.

People are pretty much all the same, regardless of race, religion, or beliefs. Trying to divide people into groups of "good guys" and "bad guys" is a control tactic by authoritarian bodies who would like to use the divide and conquer method of controlling the masses. It is the authoritarians that are the danger, not the victims of their propaganda.

These guys are beyond just thugs, as they run criminal enterprises.

Sure the leg breakers are the thugs who do the enforcement, but just like the top mafia guys running things, they have their thugs do the dirty work. So, we must recognize that "bikers" are worse than just typical thugs.
They like other criminal gangs, and are spreading into new cities to set up drugs, prostitution, extortion, etc.

A greater effort needs to be placed on them to put a stop to them before they grow stronger.

This is funny.

The one thing Texans would hate worse than a shootout within a Biker gang is Obama sending in some type of federal troops.

We can handle our own biker gangs.
