In so many of these cases it's pathetic to see how the mayors etc. running these cities are protected by their party affiliation.

All they're doing in these cases is throwing some rank and file under the bus....and only then if they aren't able to cover it up.

Hey, Rahm Emanuel says....sure, black lives matter....he had to pay $6mil or so to try to help a cop get away with murdering one.

The absolute CRAP storm that would be unfolding if Emanuel had been Republican would be epic.

Instead we are finding out that black lives kinda matter...but it depends on politics as to how much.

He refused to walk so they had to carry him. Happens all the time when guys like Freddy Gray don't want to go to jail. Hell, I did the same thing when I was arrested. Protesters use that tactic all the time, laying down in the street, chaining themselves to cars, refusing to stand, walk etc...

Every American should be concerned with the appellate court ruling compelling one officer awaiting retrial to testify against the other officers in this case... And the appellate court NOT publishing any justification or opinions.

Secret courts now...trampling the fifth

Democratic America?

With a citizen it would be one thing, but this is a government official paid for by us (or those who pay taxes).

Transparency should be a must. A person was killed. While officers were on duty.

The prosecutor has stated that Porter's testimony in Goodson's trial cannot be used against him in his own trial.

According to the portion of Maryland law cited in Tuesday’s brief court decisions, nothing Porter says on the stand in the trials of White, Goodson, Miller, Nero or Rice can “directly or indirectly … be used against” him in his own case. He could be charged with perjury, obstruction of justice or failure to comply with the order, though. Baltimore cop can be forced to testify against officers in Freddie Gray case | FOX6Now.com

Mr Porter is a liar. Ask the prosecution. They have already said so. So he is lying about himself but not lying about the other cops. LOL. The defense will have a field day.
