I wouldn't know. I had to research what 'Storm from the X-Men' even was. I haven't been interested in comic books since I was a small child, and that was [more than] a few years ago. Enjoy playing with your toys!

Just have to say after having a foot of snow dumped on us up here (southeastern MA) - I can not wait to get to TX and not have to deal with this! Cold, snow and the mess - yuck! I'll take the 100 degrees

I can't stand cold, snow and messy winter weather either. You'll enjoy the winters here...with the rare exception every once in a while.

You might not mind the higher summer temperatures we have here compared to the high humidity levels you are used to in MA.

You say that now, but in July you may be thinking, "What have I gotten myself into?" Hopefully it'll be a mild summer though to make up for the last one.

That is one of the advantages of the heat here - mid 90's are FAR more bearable here than in Chi or Boston.

THBS, 108 is 108, and even a "dry" 108 is pretty effing hot. Plus, it doesn't get cold at night - what, for a month or so it never got below 78 degrees EVER.

It's all in what you prefer. highcotton starts griping anytime it gets below 60, but then, years of golf have likely addled his brain. I'd take a little more 50's and a little less 103, but last I checked I don't get to choose the weather either. At least if it's 55 and you do a weather dance it'll warm you up, whereas at 105 you'll just get heat stroke.

I was there and it was about 96 and was totally comfortable wearing jeans and a short sleeve sweater. When it got to the 70s at night - I was chilly so I am hoping I'll finally be warm. Yes - over 100 and it'sll like being in an oven, but I'll just plan my day around it. It's still much better than 70% humidity/dew point and being 90 here!

A few days of 90 each year doesn't compare to a couple of months of straight upper 90s and above. But hopefully you'll enjoy the change of climate anyway.
