The foot is getting better. I'm still keeping it wrapped and staying off it as much as possible. Thanks so much for asking.
Maybe we should change your name to TexasGimpWheel!
I'm not overtired at all. They cut our hours at work.
I shifted my hours around and will work mainly at night now.....but I'll be home most of the day.
It was a big boat, not one of those fancy ones that has James Bond drinking a martini in the cabin.....hahaha! I imagine there were about 100 people on it...... It could double for a deep sea fishing boat for all I know..... I wore heels and stood in one spot for about 2 hours.....the floor/deck was metal.....my lower back has been killing me since last night.....I am SURE that is why. I have never done that before and it was nice...there was a short service by a minister and then a good friend and his wife said a lot of heartfelt words.....the dad sprinkled the mom's ashes out the back and the two daughters, on either side of the dad, sprinkled two (different) dog's ashes while he did the mom so that the mom wouldn't be alone....(are you crying yet? Boy, I am, even now!)....and the dad, Japanese from Hawaii, had a beautiful koa nut lei on that was mixed with small flowers and he threw that out, too......and then the girls slowly threw big bouquets out...and many of us had a flower or two and threw it out after the girls did......and then the captain slowly circled around the area at least twice.......and you could see the flowers slowly drifting......and then we went back to shore. I think it was 3 miles out.....
It was so sad, but a beautiful service.
The only other thing that I have ever seen here is when a famous surfer dies and they go out on surf boards, have a service out on the water and then throw leis out on the water....
The girl told my girl that their house looks like a flower garden because everybody has sent bouquets......I guess when there isn't a funeral home, they all send to the house. I waited until today and we ordered a nice fruit basket to be delivered tomorrow.......
We planned on showing up.....as soon as you have the dinner cooked.
