Merry Christmas to you all!! Safe travels (if traveling) - busy weekend for me: two (possibly 3) stops tomorrow (hoping traffic won't be bad - it can take forever here to travel even 20 mi., cousins in MD on Sat. and brunch on Sun. in Old town w/local friends and their kids/grands visiting.
Hi, everyone! Sad to report that I wont be having both daughters here tomorrow. My older daughter just advised me that she planned to bring her three grown daughters and a friend. I had to tell her that I'm just not up, physically, to having a houseful of people on such late notice. As much as I love my granddaughters, all those adults and their dogs in my tiny house was just too stressful for my tired old body. And poor Queenie isnt up to that much excitement either.
So they'll come over another day when I'm feeling better. My younger daughter is still coming tonight and spending the night.
This will be the warmest Christmas in many years. In fact, local reports are that yesterday broke an old record for high temp on that day.
She had been doing so well but tonight she had three seizures in less than an hour’s time. At midnight, I drove her to the emergency clinic. She had two more seizures there. The vet said that the seizures werent due to her congestive heart failure – that, most likely, she had cancer, probably in the liver. So I let her go.
