Are they reacting to the needs in the market or are they creating them?

Does that mean you think it is just a small conspiracy then? What proof do you have that it is not a big conspiracy?

That's true.

The conspiracy is to make huge profits by giving as little value as possible and taking as much as they can.

This is done by monopolizing the food supply and it's distribution, and brainwashing the citizens to accept, and even demand more of the factory manufactured garbage that is offered as food.

Some see this as the normal workings of 21st century Corporate Capitalism.

Others see it as a crime against Humanity.

If you don't care about the pain and abuse of animals, you should be thinking of your own body.
You deny that animals are given antibiotics, growth stimulating drugs, hormones, and other drugs to keep enteritis and other conditions at bay? Eating a stressed animal probably gives you a good dose of their hormones too.
Sure, some people eat too much.
Sure, some people don't exercise.
But the obesity thing has come full circle, and despite everything out there, Americans are getting fatter. I think it's the growth hormones.

Remember, cows do more drugs than you do.

Glad it was diagnosed. Sometimes post partum thyroiditis can be a problem too.

You can find some naturally raised foods. Humane Farm Animal Care - Certifed Humane Raised & Handled - Related Links (broken link)
I buy the Cage Free Organic eggs from Egg Innovations. They list their chickens as "meets humane farm standards...including nutritious diet without antibiotics or hormones, raised with shelter, resting areas, sufficient space, and the ability to engage in natural behaviors."
Cows, pigs, and ducks should have this kind of treatment too.
How can WE be healthy, if they aren't? They aren't healthy if they are abused.
