Again the fact is those stats do not include Jews who don't happen to live in majority Jewish ED's, and those tend to be much more secular liberal Jews than Orthodox.
name me 10 ED in NYC that is majority Jewish that voted for Obama?
again if those numbers would only include majority Jewish EDs then those numbers would be overwhelmingly for McCain and not slightly for Obama

no there including plurality which would include many liberal EDs in the village and similar places that would tilt this in another way based upon the other liberals who live there.

And again many Secular Jews are left off of that list. A much higher % of Orthodox Jews are included in the Jewish vote totals than Secular Jews, many of which are left off. To sum up those stats aren't a true accurate portrayal of the voting habits of any group in NYC.

but more plurality Jewish EDs also include a more liberal non Jewish vote then a Conservative non Jewish vote leaning towards a more Obama district

That is true to a point, but it doesn't mean they are more liberal than the Jewish voters in that ED, and that goes more into the point that the data really isn't accurate. The same holds true for the other demographic groups as well. You could have an ED has a plurality of one group of something like 25% (which can be true in many areas of Queens especially), 3/4 of the ED could be very different from the group that has the plurality, and could vote very different as well, yet all of the data is included in the plurality based off that chart.

So if anything it gives even more evidence to show that the sitte you linked to has very flawed data.

do we agree that NYC Orthodox Jews and NYC Russian Jews are very Conservative by any standards not just NYCs
do you think the McCain/Obama percentage of both these groups together is similar to the Obama/McCain voting percentage of NYC non Orthodox or Russian Jews

4 facts
1. many demographers feel this underestimated the orthodox vote
2. Many Russian Jews don't speak Russian at home
3. The Orthodox population has grown tremendously since then
4. I know there is some overlap between these 2 groups but I don't think anyone can assume it makes up for the previous 3

the NY Jewish study from 2002 put the population of
http://www.jewishdatabank.org/Archiv...ain_Report.pdf

total Jews at 972,000 (page 30)
Jews in Orthodox Jewish houses 331,200 (page 114)
Jews in Russian speaking houses 186,000 (page 65) (127,000 Jewish adults were born in the FSU and 64,000 were born in Eastern Europe (page 62))
Jews in Russian speaking houses plus Jews in Orthodox Jewish households (517,200 for 53.2%)

there was also a Rasmussen poll around the same time that had Obama winning the whole state's Jewish vote at a margin of 55-42 which if you factor in the Jewish areas that are most likely to go each of the 2 candidates NYC would be around 50-50.

In addition in all the gay marriage polls that were done for the whole state of NY the Jewish support for it was between 50-60% and once again was most likely under 50% in NYC.
