Yes, I think he wins virtually every debate he is in. He is not pulling his punches at all. He makes a lot of sense and has no trouble articulating his positions.

Oh, that MSNBC poll....ridiculous...of course the paulinistas will be out in force voting for him.

Mitt Romney was the clear winner, even though several of the participants did very well. Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum all were impressive. I wanted to get a chance to form a better opinion of Rick Perry and my opinion has not changed. It is just clear that Romney is the most presidential of the group.

Agreed. This debate was weighted far to heavily on Perry with Romney right behind. So far this debate was the least informative, which is disappointing since most of the candidates in are just now really distilling their policies and releasing jobs plans.

That said Perry and Bachman did not have a great night.

They take over every online poll so they are not any sort of indicator at all.

Gingrich came off like a champion panderer and Santorum was invisible. Although, Santorum is a whackadoodle, so he still has a chance with a whackadoodle base.

Newt is professor. I remember turning on CSPAN in the 90s and watching him talk to any empty hall, just lecturing about anything and everything

I thought Mitt started to kiss up to Rick, trying to plea for a VP/Cabinet spot. Definitely not a good debate for him, not a bad one either.

Well, maybe Schmitt heard the rumours about Perrys sexuality and decided to make his play.

As a Paulinista myself I thought that Paul had one of his lesser performances tonight. Kind of a blasé line of questions came his way though.
