So the Washington Post quoted Stu White on the alleged hair cutting incident as having "long been bothered" by it. Yet, the Washington Post also had Stu White on record as admitting to not having even known of the incident until this year when the Washington Post contacted him to get juicy details.
How can the Washington Post write such contradictory information?
Speaking of not having known of the incident...Lauber's sister and parents do not know of any such incident and although they didn't say it couldn't have happened they think it is a political attack and they say the article misrepresents who their son/brother was as a person. They say their son would be hurt by the attack piece on Romney.
Man, you really don't get it, do you!
The information highway is your friend. Use it and you'll learn from it.
I use the information highway. Fox is not part of it. Nobody learns from Fox or its contributors - remember they started 30 years ago, as G.O.P. TV then decided to change their name to "fair and balanced" Fox, for obvious reasons. It is the propaganda arm of the Republican Party.
So what would I "learn" from them other than what Carl Rove or Roger Ailes wants to tell me? That the 1% should run this country? Sure....
Anyone who truly "learns" anything from them is not real bright since Fox disinformation is obvious to most people. Its audience is just a small portion of the public.
Then there are those who know they lie - but like it (oligarchs?)! These yearn for a corporate govt with Romney and a corporate congress running things. So I don't know which category right-wingers fall into, but it must be one of the two.
I find it hard to believe that anybody really thinks Romney is "just folks" - has America been dumbed down that much?

Because YOU got the facts wrong, White was NOT one of the five sources.

Why did the Washington Post change their story without issuing a retraction?
They originally reported White saying that this specific incident has long bothered him....despite the fact that White told them he had never heard of the incident until the Washington Post contacted him for more details this very year.
Is that good journalistic integrity? Were they rushing out a story to time it with Obama's "decision"?

They did:
Quote:
Editor’s Note: An earlier version of this story reported that White “has long been bothered” by the Lauber incident. White later clarified in a subsequent interview that he has been disturbed by the incident since he learned of it several weeks ago from a former classmate, before being contacted by The Washington Post.
They don't say who "error" it was, I suspect the writer or editor got in wrong off their notes. Interestingly, White says he learned of the event from a former classmate several weeks ago, BEFORE WaPo contacted him.

Just another example of how, when the Dems have nothing to offer, they scrape together this kind of thing.
Frankly, I think Mitt could use a bit more sadistic dick-ness, not less.

They didn't initially offer the error, they only did after people complained that the article changed without a note. So the point still stands. Also a Washington Post source said that he admitted that he learned of the event from......the Washington Post investigation digging around with Romney's old classmates, yet they word it that it was from his friends as if it had nothing to do with the Washington Post.
Why does the Washington post have to spin and not be forthright?
Do we really have 40 pages of discussion on "Mitt gave some kid a wedgy in prep school"?
Your fellow libbies started it as they've started many lies.
