Frankly, I think Mitt could use a bit more sadistic dick-ness, not less.
* The Dems didn't scrape it together - the conservative-owned corporate media did.
* Yeah Mitt, you're not dickish enough! Ramp it up - go for it!

* What is this "drunk" story? Was this when he sipped beer in an Irish pub or what? I wasn't aware that Fox did a "report" on this. Is Fox reporting that he is on drugs? Really - I am curious since I don't watch it.
* Well if Romney becomes our President then a cooperative congress will continue to sell us out to Red China or India - which is what the globalist Right is doing now. I don't see what is patriotic about this, but then conservatives have a different view on the matter of patriotism.

Why is this thread still running? The story has been totally debunked by the so called "victim's" family.

This whole "Bullying" thing is starting to sound like demagogic McCarthyism tactics.

The Washington Post has re-validated the story.

So in my view, after all is said and done, the story will have zero negative impact on Romney. Those who were OK with him won't change their mind due to this 50 year old story.

However, the big loser here is the Washington Post, which continues it's long downward spiral from being a respected newspaper to being no better than the blogs like HuffPost.

It is a shame, but that is the real loser in this entire story.

You're lying. It has NOT been "debunked."

The victim's family saying they weren't aware of the incident(s) doesn't mean it (they) never happened.

They weren't there and it is perfectly reasonable to assume the victim never told his family about it - especially if he was struggling with some identity issues, and back then, his family may have been less than supportive of whatever "issues" he may have had.

Stop trying to manipulate what they said to fit your agenda.

I think it is perfectly safe to say, whether this happened exactly like it was reported (doubtful) or not, Romney is now being bullied..Is that ok with everyone?

Kind of cuts both ways there, and since this whole thing started with the stupid story in the Washington Post, I see no reason why those who challenge it should be silenced.

Challenging is providing proof that something didn't happen - twisting what someone said to meet one's agenda is not.

The family said they aren't aware of the incidents; that's a far cry from them "debunking" the story.

Isn't the onus on the one who makes the claim something did happen?
