Next story!
That is the problem. The current teachers didn't actually vote to have a union. The union does not want there to be a vote on this. Several school districts may vote not to have a union or to have a new union.

And you are right, the unions are extreme. Owning a health insurance provider that they get a monopoly for through collective bargaining so they can over charge the government/school district is also irresponsible and theft not just extreme.

"Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Thursday that Clinton would be campaigning with Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett as he looks to unseat Gov. Scott Walker in next week’s recall. The former president will take part in a rally with Barrett, according to the Barrett's website.

Clinton has recently emerged as the party’s go-to utility player. On Monday, he will appear with President Obama at three consecutive fundraisers in New York, including a small dinner at the home of hedge fund manager Marc Lasry (whose fund once employed Chelsea Clinton) and a gala at the Waldorf Astoria. Topping off the evening will be a Broadway concert featuring performances by stage luminaries such as James Earl Jones, Tony Kushner, Patti LuPone and Angela Lansbury."

Oh and I though all the corporate donation thingy was evil and wrong and bla bla bla bla according to the squealing swooners? LOL

"But as we reported last month, organizers have found a way for monied interests to play a role in financing the event. Convention officials have encouraged corporate executives to write personal checks. They have suggested that corporations can donate goods and services to the convention, and give up to $100,000 through a corporate foundation. Lobbyists can also bundle money in exchange for perks such as credentials. And union money is not prohibited."

Please post a list of all Democratic Governors facing a recall.

Can we leave it at this and stop trying to endlessly villify each opposing side? Christ grow up people.
You outlined something very important -- the false equivalence. Lobbying by billionaire businessman and lobbying by unions and labor as if they are the same.

Who do you think represents the interests of working people more, billionaire corporate owners of organized labor? Business owners are in this election because Walker represents them -- who want to make more money by subjugating workers. Labor works in the interests of average workers.

There is a reason why income has been flowing to the top class over the last 30 years, even though productivity is on the rise, the decline in the labor movement.

Weakening labor law more, the Walker Plan, doesn't help the average worker. We have the weekend because someone in organized labor won that battle 100 years ago.

Unions are hearing their death knell.

Why they keep trying to have a recall.

If that's true then it's a horrible thing for the middle class. What is most disturbing is middle-class Republicans cheering the fall of unions, as if lower wages and longer hours are good for them. Just keep voting against your own interests, and voting Republican, and that's what you deserve.

No it's not. Unions have been sucking the taxpayers dry for years. Look how many are members of public unions and tell me who is getting the biggest benifit from all the union cronyism? The "middle class" that you folks champion are the ones seeing their taxdollars go to waste and now if the unions aren't sucking it out there will be more to spend to help out the poor downtrodden "middle class" that you claim to want to help.

The biggest benefits are going to the top 1%. The comparative amount going to public sector union members is minor.

The CEOs of failing firms get nine-digit golden parachutes but the big problem in society, according to you, is the benefits of middle-class civil servants. The billionaires truly have succeeded in brainwashing Americans.

This is a graph from Emmanuel Saez shows how income inequality is now at 1920s levels.

While the complaint that you have (become squeezed) is valid, you are misdirecting you anger. What you should be complaining about is how income is being concentrated in fewer and fewer hands and those hands are not that of public servants, who are people more like you than Donald Trump.
