You should edit your original comment.

Funny how soo many think Clinton is a shoe in. If the dem party is wise they will stay clear of her and give this guy a shot. Clinton has WAY WAY too much baggage.
I didnt edit because it wont let me.

Many people would disagree with your opinion on Clinton just as im sure your side disagrees with us when we say who on your side is best to run.

What difference does it make regardless.

The Congress is completely dysfunctional and has been for better than 2 decades. Nothing is getting done. The minority party in the Senate is able to use the rules to bring the place to less than a crawl...it's a joke.

Let'em have the Senate. (shrugs shoulders)

Default The Senate is safely Dem..dream on

Yes, and Mitt Romney was projected to be the next president too by you people.

The Senate is safely Dem. Pubs are in trouble with the changing demographics. Latinos are seeing to that. 2016 will see the electio of another Dem as President, to serve two terms. A couple of the Conservative Justices on the Supreme Court will be replaced by more enlightened people, tipping the Court in favor of the most enlightened people in this country - anti-Conservatives. The House will see a shift as worthless Pubs are booted out.

Wasn't the GOP supposed to take over the Senate in 2010 and 2012?

2012 yes, but certainly not 2010. In fact they did much better winning house and senate seats than ever thought would happen based on the expert predictions, at least. If you remember 2010 was a shock to all, including the GOP.

The House was a bit of a shock, the Senate not so much, and the GOP teabagged themselves out of a couple more possible seats. They din't learn that lesson in 2012, as teabagged themselves into a couple Dem pickups, and looking at 204 it seems they may still have yet to learn their lesson (again look at Georgia)

I don't think the tea Party had much to do with 2012. I think a couple of stupid candidates, cost us and themselves senate seats. In both cases they were asked to step down, well at least in Akins case but he wouldn't do it. Their remarks were not caused by the Tea Party. I am certainly not saying the GOP will take over the senate, I am just saying 2012 is not an example at all.

No, it wasn't a shock. All the polls pointed to huge GOP gains across the country in 2010. The GOP should have won the senate races in Nevada, Delaware, and Colorado, but the tea part candidates blew those races and gave Democrats wins when they should have been defeats. Those three blunders forced the GOP to put more resources into races where they shouldn't have needed to denying them the ability to play more offense in other states. Those three sure wins that turned into losses would have put the Senate at a 50-50 split. Long story short the GOP has been underperforming in Senate races, so saying this far out now they will take back the Senate is subject to a lot of scrutiny.

Well I really disagree about De but we will never know. Yes, they should have won NV. Anyone with a brain knows that. As for the GOP shocking the world in the house, I think you might want to check out your souses. The GOP outcome was never predicted to be anything like it was. BTW< maybe you have me mixed up with someone else: when did I ever say the GOP would take back the senate. I have pretty much said the opposite. I think it is way too soon to predict who is going to win or lose. I am only questioning those who make comments suggesting they are sure how it will come out. I will say, the GOP didn't do any better in the senate race in 2010 than they were expected to do, maybe not as well, but the house they certainly did.
