I'm torn. If I could choose the next president of the United States with my vote alone, it would go to either Sanders, or preferably Elizabeth Warren. However, I have a feeling that Hillary would be more electable than Sanders and that is a big concern for me, because a Republican as our next president could be disastrous for our nation.
Bernie is a self described "democratic socialist", and his political record is long and documented for all to see.
One thing about Sanders that is different than some politicians running for president and serving in Congress, for example, is he hasn't garnered many millions of dollars in net worth, taking monetary advantage of his powerful political position. He does walk his talk.
Do you realize or maybe you don't not all conservatives support Limbaugh. In fact most of us do not even listen to him, unlike libs who think MSNBC is the gospel network. People can get excited about any candidate; I am sure Hillary is glad to have someone take her on. Otherwise she would be stale by the time we get to this time next year, but sanders is still a socialist (or worse) and will have trouble raising money or get his agenda across. Add to this,he will be 75 in November 2016. And some people think Hillary is pushing it a little. It is time for the new guys, the young faces, and the young ideas to take over.
I'm not going to entertain your thought because, you don't even know what socialism is. If you did, you'd know Obama is as far from a socialist as you can get in the Democratic Party. I bet you also think the UK is a socialist country, don't you?
F.A. Hayek, omg. Really? I haven't seen that name since my Paultard days should have also mentioned that other crackpot Rothbard
Sorry dude. I know what socialism is. It's you that apparently doesn't.
We're not talking about the UK. We're talking about America and the Democrat Party.
If Barack Obama is not a socialist (Marxist/socialist), why did he join the Chicago New (socialist) Party? Or were you not aware of that?
"Progressivism" is Marxist/socialism, and I know that because I have studied the "Progressive movement" and I know where it came from (imported from Germany, through the University system). You have no idea what "Progressivism" is. You think it is about "modernity," as many wrongly believe, and you think it is about believing in "science." Well, I believe in science too, and I also believe in "modern" advancements, etc. But I am not a "Progressive."
Obama is as much a socialist as any socialist ever was, and so is Hillary, and Bernie Sanders.

Why do you like Elizabeth You-didn't-build-that Warren? What does she offer? What makes her qualified? Has she ever run a business? What kind of experience does she have?
She's just another collectivist, like the rest of the Democrat field.
Yes there are a lot of conservative voices out there but he is, and has been the leading spokesman for the GOP for nearly 2 decades. I really don`t think that Oxycontin makes anyone smart.
Oh, please!!!! That was eons ago, and he does not now use it. He was taking it for a reason, but it is addictive. He got help for the addiction. It did not make him stupid.
Interesting you are apparently not concerned about Obama's drug use.
Rush is not the "leading spokesman" for the GOP! He is a "leading spokesman" for conservatism, and a damn good one at that. But I 'get' that you hate conservatives, and therefor, Rush.
We're talking about America and the Democrat Party.
Sorry, dude. When you're talking about America, there ain't no such thing as the Democrat Party ... despite how often that erroneous form of name is used by the ignorant right.
I'm with Bernie, I don't like coronations very much and Bernie's entrance into the race could make an otherwise deathly boring Democrat campaign interesting.

Reps to you, and I absolutely agree.
