No. He is too hyper for me. He needs to emotionally calm down. And, as Ron Paul said:

"Bernie Sanders has sold out and sided with [Sen.] Chris Dodd to gut Audit the Fed in the Senate. His 'compromise' is what the administration and banking interests want,"

Ron Paul says Bernie Sanders 'sold out' on Fed amendment | TheHill

I'm not sure Bernie has the balls to be Libertarian at the top. Maybe, that also accounts for his
nervousness.

No, he has no principles. I'm reluctant to vote for Rand Paul for the same reason.

Sanders supported Obama when he was arguing to support Syrian rebels. That is not being non intervention.

Why would libertarians vote for a guy who swore he was a socialist? Socialism is pretty much the exact opposite of limited to no government involvement.

No. Yes he's a non-interventionist, but no libertarian would ever vote for a socialist who hails from Vermont. If Vermont wants to be socialist, fine. But don't export socialism to the rest of the country.

Libertarians and socialists share common ground on array of issues and principles. Did you know anarchists were socialists throughout history?

Here is a novel thought. Just vote Libertarian Party.

Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul are pretty much polar opposites. Hell even regular conservatives are commies compared to Libertarians. Few of them would be willing to let the elderly eat dirt, while the Libertarians propose exactly that. Don't buy into the idea that Libertarians are "progressive conservatives", they are at best no different.

The original libertarians were semi-anarchists and pro-worker. What passes for "libertarianism" today makes Christian old money conservatism look like communism.

They may share common ground on some of the less important issues, but the biggest one, the one that every libertarian is firmly against right now and most worried about is continued and growing government interference and control of our daily lives. Socialists believe in more government interference, so while I am sure that Sanders and his supporters are hoping that he can win based on him being a non-interventionist, while libertarians ignore the rest, I would bet that he will get very little support outside of a handful of small groups of socialists and communists around the country.

The fact of the matter is I just came out of tax season, and being a tax accountant I have spoken to way to many people, while I try to avoid politics at all, a handful of my clients brought it up. Funny thing is not one mentioned Iraq, or any other international problem. Nope probably about 20 of them all brought up the corporations and government being in bed to screw the average citizen, or some similar type issue. Funny thing they were a mix between conservatives, liberals, and hard core Libertarians.

Does that sound like a population that is going to support Sanders and his 1 issue they may or may not agree with?

Not only do you not have a clue what Sanders stands for, you have no idea what Libertarians believe either.

Bernie would not get a single vote from a Libertarian.
