Not all. I'm not quite a septuagenarian yet - got a couple years to go - and plenty of us think that Sanders is just what we've always looked for from the D party.

My first presidential election in 1968? I voted the Peace and Freedom ticket - that was Eldridge Cleaver, I forget who his running mate was. My high school senior class president was one of the activists who spearheaded the formation of the party.

I've been down this road a time or three before.

From what I read Bernie won't concede. He will support the Democratic nominee. Didn't mention much about a contested convention, but will go to the Convention to push the Left to the Left. That he will work with the Democratic Party in winning the Election.

What???? You mean after a campaign is over, the opponents DON'T splinter off to each form a new party? They shake hands and find ways to help each other, because they share a common agenda???? Their supporters pull together? Who'da THUNK?????
actually, it seems like some of the more rabid posters on here admitted several months ago that this is the first election that they've been interested in, so yeah, it is all new to a lot of people. Just like trump expects all the republicans who find him disgusting and repugnant to vote for him anyways, the democrats have a base of people who believe in their platform and vote that way, even if they don't like the nominee very much.
