My dad ALWAYS has a way of bringing up politics in a way that provokes me and it always leads into huge, loud, long arguments and causes a scene in front of everyone. I was thinking of not even going, especially because Hillary lost.

It's always myself versus a SEA of crazy conservatives, and they literally believe in every Fox News thing you could imagine. Everything.
Just don't engage. Simple.

That it is.

My family has three college age snowflakes. Nice young kids who I never discuss politics around.

We have a great relationship and I'd like to leave it at that. I prefer to discuss politics with those out of school and working full time.

For me college was all about getting high, chasing the ladies and getting deep/philosophical in class. Most of my professors were about as left wing as they come. However, classes were often easy to pass assuming you never disagreed with the teacher.

In other words, a pity party.

It could be worse. You could be eating in a soup kitchen with the victims of Democrat policies.

There's a word you might want to research a little and add to your vocabulary. It's "most".

Check it out, I think you'll find it useful.

Don't go, it's your choice! Don't worry about what people will say or think! That's what's wrong with Americans, too busy worrying about what people say or think! I can care less!
