Democrats spent close to $7M, amazing amount, to win that small district and lost. The local advertizing was endless and relentless for the Democrat. Worse than when Hillary was campaigning here.

I can't believe they even tried it.

And of course they are mad as hell. The backers got nothing for their payola. They aren't going to let it go.

I don't need to live in the area to understand what's going on. Republicans tried to pad their vote. Plain and simple.

This post is goofy- House districts in states with the population of NC are sized consistently within the state and are going to be average for the nation since it has over a dozen house seats. So it is not the case of one of the smaller western states with one minimum rep for the entire state or a state that just eeked out their second seat and has somewhat smaller district.

Advertising was going to be pricey because you cannot target only one market- print, radio and TV adds would cover the entire Charlotte metro which falls in two states.

And McCready ran much stronger than Hillary so the advertising could not have been worse.

And why are you shocked they tried- its now obvious they would have squeaked out the win without Harris' now exposed shenanigans. This was the exact type of district that Democrats had to swing nationwide to win the House. I'd say this one was a much more logical target than some of the seats they did carry such as the Charleston based seat in SC and the Oklahoma City based seat in OK. Those were pipe dreams. This one was right in their demographic wheelhouse.

More information coming out.

The clown Harris Campaign hired had a record of fraud. He was known to some party members. He signed for over 500 absentee ballots to be sent in the one county alone, the state now checking the rest of the counties in the district.

Looks like a re-vote may be in order.

Yup, & Aunt Nancy has said that he will not be seated unless the NC board of elections certifies the election, whether it's this one or if they have a redo.

Considering his attitude toward women, that must really frost him.

What are you rambling on about?

This thread is about the NC Board of elections refusing to certify the election because of blatant FRAUD committed by the Republican.

WoW! Apparently the man 'collecting ballots' is well-known for his tactics and yet he was still hired by the republican candidate.

No wonder you want to change the subject.

This speaks for itself.
