I respect that.

Personally, I don’t think that’s a decision anyone except the parents can make.

I think we all likely know someone who gave birth to a baby that had severe anomalies and lived short lives full of pain and suffering for both the baby and the parents.

So my opinion is that we can’t make that decision for others.

I respect that some people don’t feel that way.

And I don’t think those people are monsters.

Demonising those with differing opinions isn’t helpful.

You need to look into the stories of women who were "strongly encouraged" to abort ... chose not to abort ... and had healthy babies.

Had they listened to the doctor? They would have killed a HEALTHY baby.

Is abortion a miracle cure? No pain and suffering once an abortion is done? No trauma or emotion? Easier than getting a tooth pulled?

This idea that there are NO effects from abortion, and everyone moves on without missing a beat, is idiotic.

Who in this thread has suggested that?

They’re already jailing pregnant women in Alabama ‘for the health of the baby’

Several pregnant women and new moms accused of exposing their fetuses to drugs have been held for weeks or months inside the Etowah County Detention Center under special bond conditions that require rehab and $10,000 cash.

Banks has a high-risk pregnancy due to a family history of miscarriage. She said she was jailed at around six weeks of pregnancy. About six weeks into her incarceration, she started bleeding and was taken to Gadsden Regional Medical Center, according to court documents. Doctors diagnosed her with a subchorionic hematoma, a condition where blood pools near the wall of the uterus.

She continued to bleed for five weeks in jail. She said she also suffered from hunger and fainting spells. Two times, specialists evaluated her for drug addiction and found she didn’t qualify for free addiction services offered through the state. Her lawyers said investigators then urged Banks to say she had a drug addiction she did not have to bond out.

“Ms. Banks is currently incarcerated indefinitely because the State will not accept her $10,000.00 cash bail and she does not qualify for a residential drug treatment,” her petition said.
Keep reading the article. This is how the pro-life movement wants pregnant women treated in America.
