And you support that.
The thousands of LTA are mostly done for medical reasons, fetal anomalies. Done in the twenty weeks range not 36. It’s 1 percent of all abortions.

The narrative of thousands of women aborting at 36 weeks healthy babies is not the reality of LTA

Yes it is tragic women have pregnancy that end in LTA because of fetal anomaly. Also tragic if a woman aborts a pregnancy late that is healthy.

People trying to muddy the issue by suggesting women abort healthy babies just weeks before birth is anti choice propaganda. It diminishes the real issue of medically necessary LTA.

I support medically necessary LTA.

I believe the law should not restrict medical procedures.
Why did you edit your comment from “aborting healthy babies” to “aborting 38 week healthy babies”?

So you don’t support the DC law.

I’m pro choice. I support a woman’s right to privacy in her medical decisions.

Do you not see how contradictory these two statements are?

No not contradictory at all. I’m pro choice. I don’t need to second guess a woman and her doctors decisions. My personal limits effects no one but me, I have no right to expect other women to live by my values.

I acknowledge there are fetal anomalies and other medical issues that make LTA necessary. Something anti choice seems to have trouble acknowledging and would rather push the false narrative that LTA are done on thousands of healthy babies weeks before birth.

Are you against women aborting a pregnancy that isn’t viable?

Yes.

See how easy that is? Simple yes or no answer. No tap dancing.

I would not be posting on here 40 years later if you had your wish. My (ruptured) ectopic pregnancy would have not only have killed me, but my younger daughter and her two sons would never have been born if I died. ONE for the sake of THREE??????

Can science remove a 6 week old embryo from a tube and re-implant it in the uterus? Maybe you had better DEMAND science finds a solution to this so all these babies will be born.

It's the:

"Setting puppies on fire is so horrific I wouldn't do it myself, but I'm OK if other people set puppies on fire and it should be legal so everyone can do it"

argument.

They don't see the contradiction. Because setting puppies on fire is the goal. No matter who is doing it. Or why.
