Lappd and Uralic genes bring a lot of dark haired people, even black haired, specially on finland and northern and central parts of sweden/Norway. I think Denmark is where is more unlikely to see a person with really dark hair followed by areas in Northern germany (moe so nortwhest areas and specially around east frisia) and Netherlands (except the very south areas bordering belgium)
With all the respect, you have some good points, but there's no evidence of Northern Germany being ever blonder than Norway, Sweden and Finland! Denmark might be similar, but still slightly less blonde. Friesland is similar to northern Germany, the most common blonde type in Western and Eastern Europe is the dark blonde type, while Sweden, Finland, Norway have more frequency of the medium to light blonde shades. This is where Scandinavians become more distinct somewhat.
Black hair/Brown Eyes are uncommon among indigenous people in northern europe, not that they do not exist, but they are a small minority. I guess most people would assume anyone with black hair/brown eyes must be from southern europe or have any sort of foreign admixture. The only place where black hair is common (in Northern/Northwest europe) is Ireland, and the UK, although Its usually paired with light eyes rather than brown.
Correction, try your best to get things in order when making statements. Irish people are most of all Northwestern European and are similar to other Europeans who inhabit the same region(Belgians, Dutch, Icelanders,etc..) and ultimately other Europeans. There are physical characteristics according to biologists and geneticists in which the Irish might exceed other Europeans, principally very pale skin which is very sensitive to sunlight and vulnerable to sunburn because it usually doesn't tan or tan a little. These are expressed through genes such the MC1R recessive gene discovered in 1997 which gives people, red hair, non-tanning fair skin, usually freckles and the IRF4 variant gene recently discovered by Icelandic scientists while studying a sample of which reduces the amount of melanin getting to our skin cells resulting in freckles causing people to have a very sun-sensitive skin, freckled, brown hair and blue eyes. Both the MC1R and IRF4 which are found common throughout Northern Europe are at their frequencies in the Irish populations.
Irish are Irish. Yes, I was shocked when I see that people outside Europe pair Ireland with the UK or Germany, just pure ignorance. Ireland is what Britain would have been without massive invasions and reformation, but even 5.000 years ago they alreadey had their own personality much before the arrival of celtic culture.
Ireland is not that different from the UK, at least when you compare Ireland with other european countries the difference is much bigger.. even people look very similar, the drinking culture is about the same too.
Social indexes in many different daily-life aspects are about the same in both countries, which points to the fact both countries are indeed quite comparable, similar, with their respective differences but quite close.
From somebody outside Europe, Italy and Hungary are similar. Both countries are entirely different, as different as that word gets in the EEC.
But not Ireland and the UK. they are indeed ery similar, and most Irish could walk anywhere in the UK (even in large groups) and nobody would suspect of them being from somewhere abroad.
People that are not from Europe, that are settled in a land whose inhabitants are not Europeans, can't possibly understand the fact that most people in Europe are closely related.
Why would you say that? I believe that is common knowledge.
If anything, it is the inhabitants of countries like the U.S and Canada that don't realize this fact.

Germany is nothing like Ireland.
Ireland is different, it is just that you are not well-acquainted with Irish and British people. Over-all the Irish are a much friendly and more talkative. Germany is different from the Netherlands as well, the Dutch are among the most tolerant of Europeans, the same cannot be said of Germans.

Of course they would stand out with their accents and language. Now you're saying England and Ireland are about the same culturally, economically, and socially? You don't know anything about this subject.
Now it's the old: Ireland and England are the same: let's compare Germany only to Ireland: Germany is completely different from Ireland: let's assumed therefore England must be too since you've establish England and Ireland are the same. That pretty fraudulent reasoning.

You are looking at them as an outsider, so you cannot tell the difference. However within the British Isles are local cultures, some from England, others from Scotland,etc.. Before the Industrial revolution and the development of transportation, when there was less migrations, differences were more obvious. Even Cornish people were seen as different from the English.
You do realize that for centuries, even millennial before the US was even founded Europeans migrated back and forth over Europe.
These Europeans then "rediscovered" the american continent with Columbus is the 1400s or 1500s~.
At that time a lot of European nations all ran to america to get their slice of the cake, and along with that developemnt people migrated from Europe to America, which basically results in the vast majority of the white Americas living in north and south america today. Even small countries like Sweden and the Netherlands had their small patches of America in the beginning (well after robbing the territories from the indians of course).
Hence any color you find on a white person in america you will find as usual in europe, because that's where it's from.
+ add to this the vast amount of migrating Asians, Africans and middle eastern to many Europeans countries, and we got even more diversity.
