Name and locate Russia's Buddhist regions.

What is Russia's longest river?

How many time zones does Russia cover?

What are the 3 religions that are traditional/historic to the Russian nation?

Who is Russia's most famous poet? What was his ethnic heritage?

"cramped"--hahahaha!
Actually, that's not true. Most Russian apartments, not counting those built during the Khrushchev era, are spacious compared to many that are sold as "condos" in the US today.

That's quite a bit more complicated actually. His mother's side had German, Swedish and (Black) African roots.

COOL! Someone was brave enough (and knowledgeable enough) to try!

Buddhist regions: Tuva, Buryatia, Kalmykia
Rivers: tricky. If we count only rivers that are exclusively within Russia, not having their origins outside of Russia, it looks like the Lena is it. The Volga is next.
Time zones: 8 from the western border to Chukotka.
Religions: hmm.... I'll have to give you credit for Shamanism. But the 3 officially recognized organized religions (i.e. institutionalized religions) are: Eastern Orthodox, Islam and Buddhism.
RE: Pushkin, see Barney's comment. In some circles in the US, he's regarded as a Black poet.

Comparative length of rivers:

Ok! I thought to say Baltic German, but then I remembered he was something 'un-Russian' and French came to my mind.

I remembered it from some quiz. Lena being the longest Russian, Volga the European Russian and Ob as absolute longest with Russian inflow. (Though that seems to be incorrect, Yenisei seem to be the absolute longest).

Most popular sports? - Soccer, Ice Hockey, Boxing.
Popular television channels today? - Too much channels... Probably it is TNT, TV-3, STS, 2×2 for young people, and Channel One, NTV, REN TV for others, although I don't watch TV.
Popular television shows today? - Let them talk, Dom-2, Comedy Club.
Popular movies today? - Mostly russian sitcoms like the Big Bang Theory or Friends, for instance Univer, the Real Boys, Interns. The Latin American soap operas are very popular, my mother always watching it.
Popular music today? - The western music is much more popular than russian, especially among young people. Old skool is also pretty popular.
Where is "Russia's Playground"? (huge tourist region) - Turkey, Egypt, Thailand. For me it is Brazil.
Describe the living space of a typical Middle Class Russian - Too small the living space I think, because most russians have no own house and live in pretty small apartments.

I watch channel 1 from time to time.

Смотри Первый канал онлайн. ОÐ*Т. Дальше можешь не искать!

Makes me wonder about certain things sometimes....

( Don't ask))) )

P.S. What "western music" exactly is popular at this point in time?

As for Alexander Pushkin, he had some Ethiopian background. There is actually a monument to him either in Addis Ababa, or Asmara (Eritrea), don't remember exactly.
