I would love to bet. Russia isn't going to smack Turkey around one bit. It is just fantasy to pretend that Russia has the capability to do anything but launch a suicidal nuclear war.

Delusional...so far Russia has been playing a very good hand and, guess what, Putin is the winner so far in the Armenia-Azerbaijan tussle (with Armenia potential NATO membership gone for good)....Erdogan has been smacked by Putin more than once already.

By the way more than one western think thanks (one of them the Rand Corporation, not exactly a Kremlin outlet) arrived to the conclusion that in case of military conflict between Russia and NATO, the latter would get its ass handed to it...badly.....

It must me Russian propaganda...

Oh, okay if losing to Azerbaijan is "smacking Erdogan in the face" then you win. Armenia isn't a country NATO cares about, but great success there too in keeping them from NATO.

Work is starting in the Danish section? I guess I was always using the word nachalo wrong in Russian. I didn't know it meant nachnet. Any day now right? Gazprom says Jan 15th. I wish I could bet on that too. I know eventually it will be completed but will gas flow? Someday, but not anytime soon.

What is this I heard about Russian ambassador not being invited to Biden's inauguration? Is it true? He said its because of coronavirus... is that why Ukraine's is going?

Russia lost to Azerbaijan?? No, Pashinyan and his merry band did...Russia now has gained military presence in that region.

Look at the optics of this....so obvious....but maybe not for you....being summoned by the principal....

Sounds reminiscent of when Ukrainians said the Kerch bridge would never be completed, then when it was they all claimed it would collapse within the year, and we are all still waiting for that to happen

Kerch bridge was completed on time. The Russians here have been posting for nearly 3 years that nordstream 2 is just about to be finished despite sanctions (scroll back to March of 2018). 3 years and we are getting the same posts "oh its almost complete". Nobody is starting the Danish section, Saturno is flat out wrong, again.

I fully expect this summer, another declaration of victory how strong Putin was finally able to "start" the last section of pipeline. And maybe next Christmastime, once again we will be treated to the great victory of the last pipe being laid, and on into 2022...

At this point Germany needs the pipeline more than Russia.
