The Olympics are not corrupt... WADA is corrupt!

I think the whole thing is absolutely corrupt. WADA and the Olympics. The blatant discrimination shown towards Russia is from the worst kind though. Russia produces good athletes, that's why their competitors want to keep them out.

It’s more of a sliding spectrum between capitalism and socialism and the various derivative off shoots. The main reason why socialism failed in Russia was because Russia was not ready for it, a society needs to go through capitalism prior to understanding what socialism actually is. USSR abandoned socialism in the very beginning and instead adopted state corporatism. Socialism is about bringing democracy into the work place and giving power to the workers, what happened in Russia they just replaced the feudalist businessmen/oligarchs/barons with bureaucrats meaning the overall structure remained pretty much the same leaving the worker just as powerless as before. Instead in true socialism the workers get together and make those decisions together and pretty much a smaller scale of modern democratic governments in other words a co-op. That is why Russia failed at implementing socialism because Russia never had a rich culture of democracy, instead they had (and still continues to this day) that we will put all the burden on the guy on top, he will fix everything and save us, that kind of thinking goes against the very principle of democracy and in turn socialism.

That being said there are definitely shortcomings to democracy so too socialism will have it’s shortcomings, but no one has actually put that experiment to the test, so I guess we will just have to wait and see.
The big question for me is whether there is a perfect system. Say humanity advances enough to become a Post Scarcity Society. There is always enough food, cloths, housing, medical care educational opportunities and freedoms for everyone everywhere. Nothing a human being could need for life is in short supply. It's all freely available. This I would call pure socialism, a Post Scarcity Society.

There's no doubt in my mind though that that would come with huge problems too. After all humans would be involved.

The girl's mother with a birthmark on her face thanked the Russians

Quote:
The mother of an American girl Luna Fenner, who flew to Krasnodar to remove a giant mole on her face, thanked in her Instagram the Russians who help her family.

"Friends, I want to thank You for your help and words of support from people from all over Russia," Carol wrote in Russian.

According to her, many asked her about the Bank account number. However, the family cannot do this as they are tourists.
She suggested doing so via a GoFundMe link.

"Thank you so much for everything!!!! Thanks to Your help, we continue operations that were successful and without suffering for our little angel of the moon, " said the girl's mother.

In the United States, the girl was diagnosed with melanocytic nevus. The child was completely healthy, but doctors fear that the birthmark can develop into melanoma.

When Krasnodar doctors learned about the disease of the moon, they proposed a more gentle method of treatment in comparison with the proposed American colleagues.
In early October, the girl and her mother flew to Russia.

The mother of the girl with the "face of Batman" told about the results of the operation in Russia

Quote:
The mother of the American girl Luna Fenner, who suffers from a rare disease, commented on the results of the operation carried out by Russian doctors, reports the TV channel "Zvezda".
Baby because of the huge birthmark on his face was nicknamed "Batman girl".
It is reported that the operation lasted about an hour and went well.
"The operation lasted an hour, it was done only on the forehead. The moon feels good. I'm a little tired because I have to watch her every minute. She does not remove the bandage from her face, " said the child's mother Carol.
In the United States, doctors were ready to provide the necessary assistance to the moon, but billed a large sum for their services-about half a million dollars. The child had to undergo 80 laser operations.
For the family, such expenses were unacceptable. Krasnodar doctors offered their help. Their method of treatment was more gentle and less expensive.
American doctors called the idea of taking their daughter to Russia for treatment crazy.

Okay it has nothing to do with Russia deleting their drug tests? Russia's own doping agency is admitting to this...

I don't care. I'll say it again, the institution that is the Olympics is corrupt from top to bottom. WADA is corrupt. I don't care.

This has nothing to do with the fact that WADA has destroyed doping samples of American athletes for 26 years.
