You are missing the other part of the story, as usual DKM.
The reason Russians pointed at this statement of one of the European regulators ( as much as they pointed at all the other jokes made by the Westerners regarding Sputnik V,) is that now (what I hear according to the news) the US started the campaign of "Russia is trying to discredit our Pfizer and Moderna vaccines" saying that it's potentially dangerous, that it can kill/harm the recipients.
It's all about money of course ( the vaccine business is about $80 (?) billion worldwide, and Russians want to have their share of the market ( which they increasingly do.)
But they are saying that the West ( Americans in particular) discredit their own vaccines just fine, so Russian input is not needed, and showed all those videos circulating on the internet with people shaking uncontrollably, after receiving the shots.
So "leave us out of it" they basically said, thank you very much.

Sure, how's that *the most verified* Indian vaccine is doing in Ukraine, DKM?
Because that's what they are using there, with 65 percent efficiency.

I am pretty sure US big pharma is afraid of the possibility that Russian vaccine might end up being better than theirs. It might prove to be less risky, yet efficient all the same.

Russia supposedly has a lot of this to give away since Russians themselves aren't taking it. Chile and Poland are vaccinating people at a far better rate than Russia is reporting. Everything is normal.
What people need to understand is their money is going to a good purpose but it is not that visible in their daily lives. When you build a house the foundation is the most important part of it but not what you see from the street.
