Why does the US occupy other countries? That's what you do, if you want to prove you're a global superpower. Russia wants us to know they're still in the game.

...and with Iran and China in the game, things are heating up.

How dare countries next to Russia having recently been liberated from Moscow control do something as provocative as join a defensive alliance! When clearly they have nothing to fear like Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine!

A "defensive alliance?"
In THEIR mind - yes, they join the "defensive alliance."
In reality, they join a PREDATOR, asking for its *protection.*

There's not much in life that scares me. Lions, tigers and bears in the bushes sizing me up. Narcotics, my grandson with a blow torch, morons with guns, a 10 mile wide asteroid are a few of them but there's one thing that strikes sheer terror into my heart. It's a politcian saying

"Don't worry, we'll take care of you."

But by joining NATO it only makes them a target and expendable since the west will never see Eastern Europeans as their equals and will use them in the first line of defense. They just traded themselves for being buffer states of Russia for the West. Would’ve been better to create Poland’s wet dream Intermarium. Something strong enough to keep Russia playing nice, but not to intimidating in that it backs Russia into a corner. And in the process gives them enough independence to go about their own foreign policy.

ha ha has, comrade, Intermarium is obsolete because they have something much better than that, NATO and the EU! Joining NATO has provided those countries a security blanket. They have the largest military alliance in the world backing them up. Nobody dares touch them or they would be blown back to the stone age. No danger of fake republics now.

Perhaps you could explain why 3 times as many Ukrainians now want to join NATO than 6 years ago. 65% today vs. about 21% in 2013. Hmmmm, because the evil CIA tells them to, right?

In other news, anti Russian protests in Georgia has caused Putin to punish Russians by cancelling their vacations to Georgia this summer.

No, it's not just "CIA."
There is no mistake - it's the Dem. Party of the US that stirs all this anti-Russian hysteria.

Someone Michael Carpenter visited Tbilissi couple of days before before all this madness, these riots took place.
The media over there ( in Tbilissi) then was broadcasting the well-prepared campaign of events in English, not just Georgian language.

This is his tweeter, so have no doubts what it's all about.

yes of course, a Democratic advisor made those Georgians try to storm parliament in disgust of having a Russian sitting in there. They were all going about their lives until some guy came over and tweeted about the obvious. Just like Nuland, its clearly Dems making Russian neighbors hate being attacked by Russia!

They are the ones financing all these "opposition forces," be they Ukrainian nationalists or Georgian radicals.

There is no sense to deny it any longer.

If the Georgian police and government can't protect it's citizens from thugs and morons then why should Russia allow flights to the country?

I'd do the same thing.
