I heard that a lot of the Cooks crew requested discharge after that incident. I don't think that happened.
You heard nothing of the sort and have no knowledge of the incident. There is no way to shut down an AEGIS from an aircraft. It was completely made up to present a false victory to the Russian media consumers. Putin was simply demonstrating Obama's reluctance to shoot them down.

So say "experts". Chucking chicken guts at the wall then reading the bloody marks. I don't think anybody knows how much Russian citizens are making. Any worthy Russian citizen has something going on the side, maybe more than one something.

For those like you who can't read Russian, here are the relevant parts and quotes from the experts from Moscow’s Higher School of Economics (HSE) and Russia’s Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA):

Real incomes fell sharply in early 2019 and have no prospects of picking back up this year, HSE and RANEPA economists said today.

“We shouldn’t expect the population’s real disposable income to grow in 2019,” Igor Nikolayev, HSE professor and head of FBK’s strategic analysis institute, was quoted as saying.

“It’s a simple rule: if the economy isn’t growing, there’s no reason for incomes to increase,” said Vladimir Gimpelson, head of HSE’s center for labor market studies.

Alexei Kudrin, Putin's chief auditor for his spending plan agreed with them:

Sorry for easily popping your bubble. But hey, there's always Youtube videos and patrol boats to brag on about. Unless its Youtube videos of Yekaterinaburg protests, then those must be shut down for promotion of public gatherings, a new offense in mighty Russia.

US planning drone swarm attack plan for Russia

SWARM

The rest of the attack strategy is a rehash of the old strategy of trying to get Russia to collapse by overextending itself militarily.

Deflecting the bad news for Russia with propaganda doesn't really work, sorry.

Go looking and see what you will find. Russia recently signed 30+ contracts with China concerning industrial investments all across the board, not just gas and oil. All kinds of stuff. It all creates jobs and wealth for the people.
