It is a fact, straight up fact, that if Maduro was on very friendly terms with the US, the US would not be taking the position it is doing now, just as the US took anti-democracy positions in the past when the people elected an anti-US leader.
So yea, USA, do as you want, but quit with the BS moral superiority reasoning for it.

The US led the movement through a successive series of sanctions over the last several years, well before the election and before the opposition started boycotting elections. They've been engaged in economic warfare and armed rebels in Colombia in an attempt to destabilize Venezuela. It is no different than withholding IMF aid to a country in order to bring down the economy and force a change of government, which the US had done numerous times.
The declarations by these organizations are predicated on the conditions created by the US and under lobbying by the US.
