*sigh* If they are asking for their village to "join Russia" that means changing the country that owns the village.
"What half the people"? yeah so innocently forgetting that all who used to live in Russian controlled territories and don't want to change their flag were chased out by your rotten heros. Terrorists from whatever churkastan you came from made their way in to Ukraine to terrorize and boot out the locals who didn't agree with your fake lame Russian "rebellion". Those remaining don't own all that land and even if they do, its still Ukraine's land and not theirs to decide which country owns it.
Nonstop you yammer on here hoping against all hope Russia will take them in. They will be lucky if Ukrainian artillery doesn't blow them all to bits like they deserve for being idiots. Much of it fired by Donbas people chased out by your heroi.
Yep, from what I see here, that's precisely what's happening.
All these DNR children are going to compete to Russian cities, and during the sport events the Russian anthem is already playing for them, along with the DNR's anthem.
And it's not just "village," but the whole big city of Donetsk ( and I am sure other smaller towns in the area) are leaving Ukraine.
If their opinion doesn't matter, if they are not allowed to speak their native tongue, if their choice of a president that they've elected democratically is disregarded - off they go together with their land.
What a sad group of people in that video. I like the hired spokesladies, but otherwise a group of sad old people yearning for the old times. They probably haven't ever left their oblast. I don't believe Russia wants to go to war to satisfy their desires.
P.S. And oh by the way - they are not the "hired spokesladies" - they are the actors from Donetsk Drama Theater that came to support DNR soldiers on the front lines.
Russia moved a large part of their coastal patrol craft from the Caspian sea to the Sea of Azov via the Volga and Don rivers via the Volga Don canal.
No major warships were in the group. Just smaller ships used for patrol but entirely capable of shooting up shore facilities and ports. Larger craft from the Baltic fleet are on their way. Some amphibious assault ships.
From what I understand, Russia just closed off the Sea of Azov ( for the cargo ships?)
So it's going to hit Ukrainian economy yet again.
(Nope, my bad - here is the news - not for cargo but military ships.
"Russia’s Ministry of Defense has reportedly announced it will close the waters leading to the Kerch Strait, which connects the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, for warships and non-commercial vessels of other countries beginning next week until October 2021."

I knew that was coming. The Kiev junta actually thought they could bring that floating second hand junk into the Sea Of Azov. Under the Kerch Bridge. Ummmm. No. Looks like they're going to have to be content with Odessa.
Some important tidbits of information about the relationship between Russia and China. The first few minutes is about the latest sanctions but he gets to the good stuff a little later. Alexander Mercouris.
I guess Crimea will get swamped with Russian tourists soon. Turkey is seeing a surge in Covid panic and flights have been restricted to Turkey for a few weeks in May and June so that's where they're going. It reportedly booked solid for the immediate future and prices are rising.
I wonder if they can cope with the water situation and a large influx of people.
Enjoy this group of very talented Russian speaking people singing together popular Russian songs from different locales.
I love some of, what I guess Russian style Blues-Jazz hybrid songs (Balalaikas with traditional Blue and Jazz instruments).

It was somewhat of a tongue-in-cheek tipoff that his claim was propaganda when they recycled the same two GRU agents (whether real or fictional). You're just poking your intended target with the same claims even though it has been denied before.
