From the top 20 last year, the only in English (or whatever) was AC/DC.

You know, we do eat things other than fast food here in the USA. In fact for many of us, it's rare to eat it at all.

Haha. I am going to start posting my dinners as proof. Tonight is Fish Tacos with hume made guacamole, pico de gallo and black beans. Last night was a chicken and veggie stir fry. The day before was pizza from scratch.
Now I do go for a lot of take out coffee from Dunkin Donuts.

I'm also a fan of Costa when I am in the UK.

As an American, I second this. I have eaten fast food less than 10 times in the past decade. I try to take my 13-year-old daughter to McDonald's or Burger King now and then and she won't hear of it. She much prefers her mother's cooking or a restaurant where she can order a proper meal.

We do eat things other than fast food - yes, anyone with a brain knows that.

For many of us, it's rare to eat it at all - now that would be false.

Only 4 of the Top 20 albums of 2014 were made from foreign artists and they were Pink Floyd with Endless River, One Direction with Four, Coldplay with Ghost Stories and U2 with Songs of Innocence, all either British or Irish bands.

Of the 20 songs none was Italian, the first was 22nd, the most sold one was Bailando by Enrique Iglesias, 7 seven songs came from the USA, 2 from France, 7 from the UK, 1 from Canada, 1 from the Netherlands, 1 from Canada and one from Sweden.

4 of the 10 most sold books came from abroad with Green, Follett, Tartt and Zusak

Perhaps France, Spain, or another Latin country.

Greece, for sure. There is still a very vibrant Greek music culture, unpolluted by American style.
