Today there are general elections, They are still counting the votes, it seems the government has been reelected, but lost its absolute majority in parliament, so they will have a much harder time as the leftist parties together account for more delegates than the governing parties.

According to sources the coalition of two main right parties had 36,8% to 41,6%. The main left wing party got 29,5% to 33,9% and the more extreme left parties got record results.

Currently the right coalition accounts for about 38.5%, the three left parties for 32.5, 10, and 8 percent respectively, i.e. more than 50% of votes.
In terms of delegates it is 86 vs 95 (69+14+12), i.e. the left can block most anything the government wants, if they join forces, which is the problem, though

But there are still some votes to be counted, mostly of the big urban centers, so results are likely to shift towards the left even further over night.

I saw the results in Público. The results that they posted were the ones I wrote.
That's true, the left is very divided and the BE as well as the PC does not want to unite with PS, unlike what the PSD and CDS did, which was a smart move to gain more votes from the public.

Yes your link indicates that the previous building was a riding arena from the 18th century and is located directly across the street from the new location but continues to remain open to the public. I plan on seeing it some day.

There is a lot of restoration going on now.

These days a big church in Évora (igreja de São Francisco) is reopened after massive restoration, where they took the whole church apart judging from the footage they showed on tv.

The church includes many chapels, among them the odd chapel of bones with lots of skulls and bones...
