Wow ran across this article it looks like there are some in the Poruguese government who think they can repopulate Portugal's interior with refugees. What a ridiculous plan, what about coming up with a plan instead to attract at least part of the 500,000 Portuguese who have left the country recently after the ecomomy collapsed.

Yes I really do exist and as far as I know there is no other woman singing Fado de Coimbra. It's really a shame. More than 50% of the students are female and only men are allowed to sing. It's a very old-fashioned tradition.

According to my limited understanding on the topic it is viewed as a masculine form of singing by traditionalists.
