25 minute run that seemed like it was all uphill. Birmingham is a little lumpy. Finished with 4 sets of light weight reps on bench press rack, then 3 sets of increasing weight dumbbell curls, and wide variety of mid-section exercises meant to increase core strength. Then got in the pool for a few laps before being visited by my beautiful lady friend. She is awesome. best way to start the day
104F outside, 94F in gym (no a/c). The head trainer stepped in at the tail end of my workout, made me increase my KB weight...ugh, my breathing was off & I could barely finish 10 minutes. First time ever that I crumpled to the floor & pretended to stretch so I wouldn't have to get up until I recovered. Of course, it's probably my own damn fault after bragging how much I pulled/pushed on the sled last week.

Nice! What part of California are you located? I am in the Valley (Sherman Oaks/Encino) where it gets HOT and I prefer working out in the heat.
opps, just noticed this. I'm in Sacramento.
I felt like a cross fitter today when I collapsed & made a huge sweat angel. The heat makes me very tired, but I seem to be able to lift heavier & have better flexibility. Weird.
Yay A/c on, so started off on Jacobs ladder, finishing cardio with jog/walk intervals
Increased all my weights tonight & did extra sets of pull-ups
Pull-ups
Incline bench press
1-arm db row
Lat pulldown close grip
Bar curls
