1 hour "Power" strengthening fitness class - barbell, abds, some aerobics. Then ran 5 miles around Tampa Bay Buccaneer's Raymond James Stadium and Al Lopez Park (then Yankees-Rays game this p.m.).
Nothing today. Family member in hosp required my attention. Will run tomorrow and a 5K race on the St Petersburg racetrack before the Indy race on Friday night (I've been doing that for the last several years).
Just starting on a routine after be off of a regular routine for a long time. UGH!!
Yesterday I did(and plan to do this everyday for this month…then add some more)
30 minute stretching tape so I don't shock my system.
30 minutes on the treadmill
and then this workout: (I had to halve the numbers but will increase each day)
100 Jumping Jacks
100 Crunches
100 Squats
25 Push Ups
rest 1 minute

Any advice for an overall "home" workout would be appreciated.
I'd say that what you're doing is fine. You have a cardio machine and you're doing body weight exercises. You might want to invest in free weights for your strength needs. Good luck
So now I am nauseous. I upped all the all of my exercises from the 50 yesterday to 75 today. I thik the jumping jacks did me in. I know sorry right, lol, but it is a start.

Thanks. I do have dumbbells up to 20 pounds so I will work those in in a few weeks.
BTW, I think it was you talking about dancing with the kids That reminded me of last year when I volunteered for the Summer Reading program at my library. I did an interactive story for the kids...and it really did give me a mini workout, lol, and the kids loved it. I can't find a sample now but as the story is read each kid in the audience has to mimic what the kids in the story are doing. Shooting hoops, sweeping a floor, marching etc. Anyway it was great fun for the kids and gave them exercise without knowing it.
