I'd have a hard time with a guy that had tattoos circling around his neck. I have a slight preference for fewer tats overall, but I have a strong aversion to those collars of tattoos. I also won't date a smoker or someone who dips or uses snuff. Just personal preference.
To me, physical beauty is ruined by tattoos. Recently I saw a girl with a very lovely physique but on her chest was a gigantic tattoo of a crown. I was like "uggg... she ruined a Rembrandt with a cheesy tat that looks like it was done in a backroom parlor."
So, to me, you can't say someone is physically beautiful AND have tattoos. They are mutually exclusive.
Now, if there's say a few small ones in discrete places, then sure, I'd date her. But not huge tats that cover an arm, chest, and DEFINITELY NOT a tramp-stamp (tats on the back hips, just above the buttocks). That just screams low class.

I look at tattoos in a similar light. I don't have any tattoos. I don't consider tattoos cute. Just my opinion on it. I might make an exception considering if the tattoo is discrete, but generally, I share the same sentiment about tattoos that you do.
