For men and women: Exercise to keep muscles strong, and practice good balance and posture. This leads to a confident walk that is attractive and engenders respect.

Having the right attitude can make just about anyone attractive.

I thought of a few more things:

1. Moisturize. Everything - hair, skin, heels of feet, lips, you name it.

2. Speaking of heels - keep those hoofs under control!

3. Mouth hygiene and maintenance is really important. Keep your cleaning appointments. Stay on top of all things dental. I invested in a water pik thingie, and I use it every night after I very thoroughly brush my teeth. After the water pik thing, while I'm bathing, I also swish coconut oil around in my mouth for the next 15 minutes or so. Wow, the difference is amazing. My gums are super healthy and my teeth are too. My mouth feels great.

4. Speaking of coconut oil - or almond oil or olive oil or grapeseed oil - you name it - use liberally inside and out. On your skin, on your food, in your hair, in your bath salts (easy to make).

5. Yoga. Love it - easy on the joints but it keeps one supple. It's also relaxing and centering and invigorating.

6. Do something creative. Woodworking, writing, gardening, cooking, painting, dancing, DIY projects, whatever - keep the creativity flowing.

7. Volunteer. Give back to your community. This keeps you current, keeps you in tune with other elements of your society and other ages, other interests, other perspectives. This keeps you vibrant and relevant.

I personally find weight to be one of the biggest things that affects how old someone looks. Staying at a healthy weight makes a person look significantly younger than someone 30+lb overweight.

Agreed. This is the hardest thing of all for me.

As I notice other older women, I take note of what makes them attractive to me and try to apply these things to my own appearance.

A good haircut, no matter what the color.

Good teeth, not necessarily perfectly straight, but reasonably white (not that artificial bluish look that over-whitened teeth have)

Good posture.

These are all things that can be achieved at a reasonable cost. All it takes is the desire to look our best, despite our age.
All good points..also keep feet well groomed, nails trimmed, feet soft (use cream). I do my own pedi's, too ticklish to go to a salon but many enjoy having a pedicure. Older feet need to look as good as possible.
