I can't help with the Mexican food, but I'd nix 'AZKraut' as a 'nom de net'.

Lmao!!! I guess I'll have to think of something besides sauerkraut! That's been my "nom de plume" for nearly 20 years. I'll like an orphan, lol.

My dogs are looking at me like I've lost my mind, I'm laughing so hard! Oh how I wish we were moving tomorrow.

How many of you actually live in Cottonwood? I feel like I'm already making friends and we haven't even left yet!

I do! Off and on my whole life. One of my favorite Mexican food places is Su Casa in Clarkdale, across from the park. Very good! There's another one, that I can't recall the name, next to the Best Western in town. It's always busy so it must be good. I haven't been there in a long time. Then there's Pepe's Café...it's good too!

My favorite places to eat in Cottonwood are the Tavern, Red Rooster Cafe, and Hog Wild which none are Mexican Food.

In Prescott, where I am at, Arturo's Mexican Food and Casa Sanchez are both wonderful places to eat with food that is mouth watering!

Trent, we looked at Prescott first, because it has a VA hospital. We ended up looking at Cottonwood because it was cheaper and closer to Sedona. But we are still keeping an open mind of which two places...

I can definitely understand, I am sure anywhere you move once settled in, you'll feel right at home...either way you will have some great places to go and eat once here!

Just to add a couple tidbits.

There is a VA clinic in Cottonwood.

Fry's supermarket is actually a Krogers.

I lived in Sedona for 8 years, left for a year and will be returning shortly.
