Any day I can inspire just one person to eat a taco is a successful day.

39 days until we close on our house!!

That is exciting about the house HG we moved into ours 10 years ago this week and I still remember the day like it was yesterday.
It was exciting because it took us 22 years to buy a house. I wish it hadn't taken so long but we had medical bills for our son and that pretty much ate the house fund but I have my son today.
We have a lot more years on our mortgage so I say do it while you are young if you can.

Best wishes on your new home..........that's the best!

taco filling.

I would love tacos tonight.... I don't have any of the fixins except cheese and sour cream though. I know hubby likes more than that. Maybe I can call my mom to take me to the store to pick up the rest. Oh and some taco shells. If I don't get ahold of her we'll have a cheese stuffed shell oven baked Bertolli dish.

Both of these are easy and after making soooo much fudge yesterday and today, I want an easy meal.

LOL Debsi I think you have inspired the whole thread..... And Lacey... I need to thank you again... this is the first time BOTH of my kids have happily eaten dinner in a long time... they are LOVING it right now. We are trying to chow and run tonight.... tends to be how things are running in our house as of late..... happy dinner everyone.....

EDIT..... Daughter #1 has spit the meat loaf into a huge pile in utter disgust declaring it the nastiest meal in "eternity"... must be a new word at school and she figured she would try it out on dinner.... but Daughter #2 is on her third pc.... So... that is success in my book
