Decided it's time to clear out the freezer a bit...so many meals frozen from leftovers from other meals we've had...so tonight I'm heating up some of my 15 bean soup and making some grilled cheese sandwiches to go with it. That will be really easy and yet warming on a cold, wet day!

Okay, so we were both too tired to go out to eat last night......so we made blueberry pancakes and some smoky links and eggs and had breakfast for dinner.

Tonight we are doing linguine and clams, with salad and peel and eat shrimp covered in Old Bay then steamed for a starter.

Hubby and middle son are going to make a vegtable stirfry tonight. I get to do all the prep work and he will put it together. Then I get to clean up. I think I would rather cook. LOL

Let me get this straight... you get to spend 30-45 minutes washing, drying, and chopping vegetables, and mixing a sauce together, then they get all the glory of having cooked dinner because they stir it all together for 3 minutes? Men!

Sounds about right. And boy do they want that glory to! Oh well, if it makes them happy. It's still a pain to do the prep work and clean up.

I'm a dork I know....but I actually enjoy the prep work! The clean up, not so much.

I am really lucky though, if I cook, my boyfriend cleans up. If he cooks, I clean up. Fair deal.

I agree! You're so lucky. I get some help with the dishes, but I do 90% of the cooking (which I like but it is work of course) and about 75% of the dishes (which I don't like).

He does the floors though!
