You sound like my DH Nomadicus but he enjoys the horseradish or wasabi. The others cause him heartburn! Hope you feel well enough to enjoy your jalapenos tonight!
With me it was always not wearing a jacket unless made to...I didn't take up hot and spicy until 30ish...I started having tummy problems with things like orange juice even as a teenager...later years peanut butter started severe reflux...Crazy thing is onions that bother a lot of folks don't seem to bother me at all...
I agree cyn it was all just a part of growing up, I use that line with my kids quite often BTW. Lacey IF I could change things I would have never started smoking and I would have paid better attention to my parents/grandparent's "lessons" instead of plugging along helping them. Probably at the time helping them do something I was under my breath griping about. Think that was all.

I'm guessing it ages better if you don't forget the pot you put on to warm for lunch
Later on I'm going to see if I can manage to boil water for ravioli without setting off the smoke alarm, just a bit too screechy to make my dinner music play list

Oh, no! What a terrible fate for good chili! And it doesn't do the lungs any good, either, with all that smoke... So sorry your chili met with such a sad demise, but I'm sure the ravioli will be a success. Timers help a lot, by the way.

This doesn't sound good....Smokey wine eh...Well no danger of burning dinner here tonight. The pizza is ordered. Decided against chancing jalapenos tonight...Back in the menu tomorrow though with tacos...

Man that is one of the biggest struggles I have with my kids in the winter! They think going out in 30° with a spring weight jacket is good to go. No hat or gloves forget about boots. Oh let's not forget kids today don't wear socks that come up above your ankles, my Lord they would fall into cardic arrest if I made them wear knee highs!
I do insist they have a heavier coat in the cars and each car has a blanket by golly. Just waiting on the day one of them calls to tell me the car they are driving or riding in has broken down. Bet when they sit in this winter weather 15 minutes without my precautions they will understand where I come from.
